Frequently Asked Questions
Scalp Painting
Will the hair follicle be damaged?
No, they won't. The needles used in scalp panting only penetrate the scalp to a depth of 0.5mm-1.5mm, so there is no risk of damaging the hair follicles.
Will the scalp pores get clogged?
No, they won't. As I mentioned before, the depth of needle penetration is limited, my machine automatically moves up and down without any manual swings so there is no risk of clogging the hair follicles or pores.
Can I use hair products after scalp painting?
Yes, you can. After the procedure, you can shampoo your hair as usual after 24 hours, and it is safe to use hair loss products starting one month after the procedure.
Can I dye my hair after scalp panting?
Yes, you can. You can dye or perm your hair one month after the procedure.
How much does it cost?

Brows
Which eyebrow service is the right service for me?
In order to determine the right brow service for you, I highly recommend messaging me for a consultation to decide what is the most suitable service for your brow needs.
What is Ombré Powder Brows?
Opting for Ombre brows means you won't have to wake up early every morning to perfect your arches. This will give you the most makeup look. While they are suitable for everyone, powder brows are especially perfect for people with oily skin. People who have all or just some of their natural hair left on their brows also make good candidates for powder brows. We can keep them soft and natural or a little bit bolder for those who wear a bit more makeup. Compared to micro blading, powder brows last much longer, about 2-5 years. Following touch-ups will be needed to complete the look.
What is Nano-brows?
The Nano-brow allows you to have fully saturated hairs stokes with better retention, less trauma to the skin, and provides you with a smoother healing process. Nano machine strokes applies the pigment to the skin without cutting into it. As a result, the nano machine strokes last longer because the device is able to implant more pigment into each hair stroke.
What is Nano-shading brows?
This service combines nano strokes and powder shading to add more density, volume and seamless blend to the eyebrows for clients that have very sparse, patchy or thin brows. This technique can be fully customized for anyone’s preference and provides the natural fullness of digital hairstrokes along with the density of powder shading so it is the best of both worlds!
Does it hurt?
Everyone experiences and tolerates pain differently. I use a topical anesthetic to numb the area before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable, with most clients reporting a 0-2 out of 10.
Can I get my brows done by you if they have been previously microbladed/tattooed?
I take previous work on a case by case basis. I will need to see a very clear photo of your bare brows before booking. Please feel free to message me a picture of your current brows and your brow history before booking.
When can I get botox?
Botox should be done a minimum of 21 days before your brow procedure or 21 days after. Botox takes 14 days to settle and take full effect, and cosmetic tattoos are typically healed within 2-3 weeks.
What skincare products should I avoid?
You should avoid the use of any skincare products with AHA/BHA, Retinol, Retin-A, Hydroquinone, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, etc. for two weeks before your appointment date, and for two weeks after. Once healed, prolonged exposure to these ingredients can lead to fading and pigment discoloration so it’s best to keep them off the brows directly.
What’s the healing process like?
Brows are typically healed in 6-10 weeks. Your brows will look darker and bolder in color for the first few days, this is totally normal! Your brows will also flake/peel during healing, this is also normal and may appear like they’re fading too much or losing too much pigment. Trust the process and follow your aftercare instructions. After the new skin has healed, the pigment becomes visible and more vibrant again, usually around 4 weeks after your appointment. Your perfecting session will take care of any areas that may have faded more than desired.
Lip Blushing
What is lip blushing?
It is a lip tattoo that enhances and defines your lips. It can help enhance and even out natural color, or add color if you are lacking any pigment. Your lips will look darker and more like lipstick on the first day, and soften as they heal to become a subtle, natural looking lip tint.
How long does it last?
Results will always vary from person to person, after your initial session and the touch up, your results should last between 2-5 years. Additional touch ups may be required depending on the person and look desired.
What to expect?
- There will be moderate swelling, redness and bruising for the first 5 days.
- Ice pack for no more than 15 minutes at a time to reduce swelling.
- During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own.
- Expect the color to eventually lighten by up to 40% once the healing process is complete.
- Color may appear uneven at different stages of healing. Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results.
Does lip blushing hurt?
Pain levels vary from person to person. Topical anesthetic cream is used before and during your procedure to keep you as pain free as possible.
Will I still have to wear lipstick and will other colors look the same on top?
The colors I tattoo with are natural and intended to look very natural. I can certainly enhance your natural color or add color if you’re lacking, or add a specific tint that you’re looking for, but it remains soft and natural. That way when you do decide to change it up and want to wear lipstick it will still look great over top, and can cover your tattoo with whatever color we decide to use.
